Wii

The adults took over the Wii game on New Years Eve.
On New Years Day Jeanne was looking at some cookie recipes from her grandmother. The cookie recipe was out of a newspaper from September of 1952. On the back of this clipping was this article.

WATCH TELEVISION IN COMFORT (How to watch television)
Children should sit at least 4 feet away from the screen and as directly in front as possible. A dark room is avoided by using a floor lamp at the LEFT and a small decorative desk lamp at the RIGHT for overall illumination. A TV planter lamp on top of the television receiver lightens the dark back wall.
Periodic glances away from the screen are also recommended, to relax the eye muscles from the strain of concentrating and focusing on one small area.

I'm glad the hand strap is on, or the ornaments would be memories! Ha ha

'How to watch' TV is priceless.... I always wondered why they say we should view TV with lights on and yet at Cinemas, we watch in the darkness?

What a fascinating find, the clipping from 1952

A fine Wii action shot. My friends have one and it is always fun to play. No wonder they are being so successful. Anybody can enjoy it.

This is a great picture, I know kids don't read the manual...why should adults do either.....I hope she hits a homerun....I would have loved to see her run the bases...;)

Looks like fun. Wish I was there. And thanks for the safety advice for TV watching. Priceless! We must have all ignored that just as we ignore the warnings for computer use. :)
